Coral & Live rock Supplement, Live rock needs supplements?

Walt Smith just released a new Coral and Live Rock Supplement under their Fiji Gold Brand. Now I didn’t know that My live rock needed supplements to stay alive. I figured good flow and some descent lighting would do the trick. Apparently Walt Smith thinks differently and made this “direct from the Fiji Islands” supplement. The question is, is this taken from live rock? Or is it for your live rock. For any of you lucky enough to pick this baby up, let us know in comments or the forums. We are very interested to know what exactly this thing does that our Kalk does not.
What is in this other product you mentioned. I am just a newcomer, setting up my first saltwater tank, and I want to learn more. I’m setting up a refugium to supplement my futue critters reef.
