		<description>Personally, i test salinity daily or semi-daily. Then i test about once a month: pH, Alkalinity, Ammonia, Nitrate, and Nitrite. I test calcium about once every two weeks.</description>

		<description>I'm surprised that there is no mention of magnesium. In tanks with heavy SPS, clam or coralline populations, magnesium will often be used up faster than regular water changes can keep up with. 

Since magnesium is critical to coral/clam growth and to alk/Ca balance, it is wise to test a couple of times a month.</description>
