thank you for soothing my throbing head. I've just desided on starting a reef system/marine aquarium and to be honest it was getting a little overwalming. I'm looking for all the advice that I can get, and boy did you help me out bigtime. I really had no idea on how involed this is going to be. I've had freshwater tanks before and all thrived well( way too easy), but was always reluctant to try "SALT WATER". With what you have explained, what I already know, and no doubt what's out there, I think I will get a good nights sleep knowing this ain't that hard.

Read your article and I'm unclear about pvc, glue, cable ties. Are you making a skeletal system with the pvc etc. to attach the live rock? If so, then are you glueing the pvc to the tank? Are you bonding the live rock with glue or using the ties or both? Thank you

This is without a doubt the best article I've read so far about setting up a reef tank. I am currently thinking of starting a 24 gal nano AquaPod. You answered all my "rookie" questions with this and I didn't even read any of my material yet. I am now more excited than ever to get my stuff start reading and then setting up my new tank. Thanks for a wonderful job.

I'm new and want to start a reef tank with fish. I've had luck with freh water
for years (15) I'm looking at a 125 aprox. tank. bow front. How often will you do a water change and clean your tank. What is the best way to keep the water level even. (evaporation.)
thanks
