Let me clarify one thing about the "no signs of stress" sentence, written in the Vibrance section for you Joe. I am not a big fan of dosing Iodide/Iodine supplements unless there is something in the tank that absolutely needs it. My tank doesn't have any of those types of corals that are highly dependent upon high levels of Iodide so it is tough to see benefits. However, many corals that do not benefit substantially from Iodide dosing can show severe negative effects if overdosed in the smallest way. When I dosed the additive at a slightly higher than recommended rate, no negative signs were observed. This has to be a positive sign that the additive may not be as dangerous to corals as some other products on the market. We all know that very often people overdose chemicals in their tank. If you read the whole section, I wrote "none of the inverts or corals showed any signs of positive or negative reactions" which shows that I am not put my stamp of approval on the product since it is too early in the testing process.

Additionally, anyone that knows me and my dosing habits knows my thoughts on additives, especially with beginners or people who haven't experimented with dosing nothing in their tank besides alkalinity and calcium additives. Additives can do many good things, but they can also cause many problems.

"Since there was no signs of stress observed by either the corals or inverts, I will take this as being a positive sign...."
Uhhh....can I interest you in a bottle of Joe's Super Special Vibrance-X2 Solution? It will probably do the same thing, but only $1 cheaper!
I wonder how a box of these repackaged Seachem products will do on the shelves of a hair salon? They'd probably receive a lot inquiries on their usage, I'm sure.
Just to show that I'm not attacking this company, I must say that I do get measurable responses from Seachem's Reef Advantage Magnesium, Marine buffer and de*nitrate for my 110 gallon reef tank.
I predict in the future that internet SPAM will go down while the preponderance of marine aquarium products will go up. So, I hope that beginner reefbuilders focus on the basics before delving into advanced formulas. Otherwise, the market will become saturated with untested products.
