We got word that Euro Reef would be releasing their new nano skimmers “in the next few days”. We’ve been waiting on these guys to drop for almost 6 months now we figure what’s another toasty slice of rumor pie to keep us all glued to our monitors and not our tanks. Granted Jeff from Euro Reef is the rumor source, so we will let you decide whether that is in fact rumor. However, we think it would be wise for Euro Reef to get its act together as we would hate that were right and these skimmers actually launch in 2009.

I have seen these in person and after seeing and evaluating tons of different skimmers of all sizes I am really excited at how simple, affordable, effective and small these skimmers are. Euro Reef is not my first choice for a large protein skimmer, but if these skimmers hold up to the test of time by the reefing community they will be one of the most popular lines of protein skimmers in the future.
