euro-reef-nano-skimmer-ns30-2p

What do we have here? Another nano skimmer from Euro Reef? Apparently they were a bit slow releasing this model, the NS 3.0-2P. Like its siblings, this skimmer does have another confusing model name. This skimmer is rated for 60 gallons, has a footprint of 6.5” x 5. 5” and height of 18″. It uses 2 Resun SP-980 Modified pumps eating up only 22 watts. Air intake is rated at between 240-300 lph while pushing water with those two pumps at 210 GPH. The Resun pumps have been modified with an alloy micro mesh which could be a smaller setup similar to that other alloy mesh wheel we have been hearing about. This nano skimmer will fit  a CAD pro 39 aquarium (sump) model and has begun shipping for $168. Euro reef? Did you forget to include silencers for this bad boy? It’s like you want to drive us all crazy or something.

We sure did forget to put on the silencers when we took the picture!
All our nanos will come with the silencers even though some models are dead quiet.

As was noted before, we will try to acomodate as many nano aquariums as possible with our skimmers since our new alloy mesh wheels allow a great range in performance when used with the right pump.

We are working on the HOB nano skimmer prototypes but the in sump skimmers will take priority since it appears to be the greatest need….if we are wrong we would certainly like to hear about it!

A Happy New Year to all!
