elos-orange

We aren’t sure if we like these bright orange doors on this tank, but it certainly does give new meaning to the phrase “stunning”. Question is, would you be looking at the doors more or the tank? What do you think?

Doesn’t fit the decor of that room! Maybe I’m just not a fan of retro but it’s hard to even consider it that…Not a fan

To each their own I say when it comes to design and color choices. I’m sure the owner is tickled pink and that is what truly counts :D

I can’t help but think that the orange color scheme Elos sometimes tries to develop in their products has something to do with a racing inspired Elos designer.

Using actinics for room lighting to make the doors ‘pop’ like that lol? Right now is hard to judge as it’s the only bright color in the room. I think once the tank is up and running, the reef itself could definitely draw the eye from those doors, or they may complement each other.

Abosolutely, that’s Lamborghini Orange and looks awesome. However, Elos charges a premium for custom colors so I wouldn’t not pay the amount he did for sure!

I think this flamboyant color would look much better if the light hood was also that color. BTW many of their lights are available in that color.

Well, blue and orange are complementary colors, so I think it will be fine.

I like the colour but it greatly depends on the rest of the room.
From the looks of it, the frame on the left is more of a classic style and the orange cabinet is more contemporary. A mixture of styles works sometimes but the cabinet is too strong in this case.

They need to center the light over the tank more than anything

An orange stand? That doesn’t look too good in my opinion. It reminds me of crappy freshwater tanks and all of their decorations and junk. Just my opinion.

Well, I dont think the stand will distract when viewing the tank since the rest of the room will be darker when the lights are on, so the color of the stand is somewhat unimportant when viewing. Still… when not viewing and the lights are on in the room… I hope there is a bright red/orange sofa and bright blue coffee table to go with that!
