If our monitor settings are correct, we are looking at some of the most brilliant, new varieties of zoanthids in a very long time. Coral morphologic is hawking a whole new variety of zoanthids in some unbelievably brilliant color combination and they are selling these for the price of brown zoanthids to boot. If you want to pay $30-50 per polyp for some “top end” zoanthids you go ahead but for $50 we would rather drop our change on a couple mini colonies of the “Core More” Zoanthids, wherever they are from. Perhaps our new sponsor could chime in with some background details on these amazing new zoanthids. Continue reading for a small sampling of the amazing Zoa colonies we’ve found over at Coral Morphologic, or check it out yourself and while you are there, they have some decent Ricordea florida as well.

Wow those are some sweet pieces at good prices too. I pretty much got out of any "per polyp" market that's out there, tired of the naming conventions too, glad to see they simply describe them by the color.

Hope those colors aren't a trickery of camera, i.e. 20k bulbs w/ actinic, but white balanced back to show the fluorescence but make the light look non-blue.

A friend and I recently ordered pretty much every zoa colony on this site. Having our doubts about pacific zoanthids, I have to say, when we received the order we were totally blown away. Colin and the crew at CoralMorphologic are great, outstanding communication throughout the entire transaction. The pictures on the site are almost perfect representations of the actual specimen. Thanks again

    Cheers,

    Paul and Ed
