Reflekta, a company out of the republic of Slovenija has released a new type of T5 lighting system that you won’t be able to get in many places. The T5 lighting fixture features their PM3 light equiped in a nicely shaped box that comes in 6, 8 and 10 tube flavors. The nice feature about these T5 fixtures? They are dimmable, with Reflekta saying that these “gradually dawning and growing dark within range of 1-100%.” The 10 tube flavor is said to top out at 800 watts and each of the units has a nice array of fans to cool the unit. Reflekta is actually known most for building reflective materials for different T5 applications, like for example warehouse lighting. These new PM3 lighting fixtures are designed for us aquariums nerds. Full PM3 listing below the break.

So if only the 24w 39w 54w and 80w are actually dimmable for the USA market (which makes sense) this means they are using philips advance mark10 ballasts AC dimmable ballasts I would assume.
They make 110V dimmable ballasts in 24w and 54 w with dal output but if you join the two outputs together for the 24w and 54w balasts you can dim 1 TFHO tube at 39w and 80w (legal note Philips do not warrant or advice this)
However if they are using 1-10V dimming they are installing 110V to 220V step up transformers that are heavy and consume bucket loads of power.
I would like to know what interface they are using.
Whichecer way – what is THE only controler that could control these?
GHL ProfiLux
Michael are you a spokesman for GHL? I notice you pump them at every opportunity
Anyways, I would hope that these lights would come with a built in timer/controller to deal with the lights, as nice as it is having a dimmable light, it’d suck if you had to fork out for an 3rd party controller just to make your lights work as advertised. Also I hope the dimming is something that you can program in, and it’s not a fixed amount.
