Hydor isn’t one to sit back and let Tunze recent nano streams to take over the nano market in water movers. So what do they do? Offer a “nano” version of their Koralia pumps which pushes a measily 240 GPH. However, you could purchase a Tunze Nanostream 6025 that pushes 660 GPH for about $65 through your local fish store or online. Which would you pick?

  1. When they say “nano” they aren’t kidding — 240gph isn’t very much at all, even for a small tank. I have a Koralia 2 in my 20H nano, and it provides a nice gentle flow; anything smaller would be too little. Maybe this is for the 5gal-and-under crowd?

  2. This is for the 10-15 gallon crowd.
