Using tap water should get a whole lot easier, Caribsea released D-Chor-it which is said to clean your tap water of chlorine and chloramine including heavy metals like copper and raising alkalinity as well. Adding a slime coat to your fish isn’t a problem because Ammo Buster Extreme does that too. Ideally made for aquariums with high ammonia levels (read: tank cycling).
