Colby! Welcome to Reef Builders buddy, I'm glad you finally joined us here on the forums!

The two little starfish your talking about could be members of the Asterina Anomal family. Although identifying specific species can get fairly complicated. Most are harmless herbivores, but some can have a craving for Zoanthids and other Polyps. I will help you take care of those pesky Aiptasia as well, I think I have a syringe.

Did they look anything like whats in these 2 pictures?:
