You really need to ditch the Rosie Reds. If you have to go the live route (while trying to convert to frozen) guppies are at least a little better choice. Rosey Reds, besides not being nutritional complete for the marine fish, have an enzyme in them called Thaiaminase. It's an enzyme that breaks down Thaimine (Vitamin B1) and can cause neurological problems in your lion.

I currently have 5 lions, a male/female dwarf pair, Fu Manchu, Hawaiian and a volitan. I feed them on Mon., Wed and Fri. All mine are on frozen foods, but I trained them using guppies.
