Default 75 gal water Pump question

Hi!
I have a 75 gal. tank running with a fluval 405 filter but I want to go with a wet and dry system. I'm not 100 % happy with the fluval but it is working hard...
I have been reading a lot lately to learn about wet and dry and external water pumps. I have a hang on skimmer, so I don't want a wet dry with the skimmer.
I thinking of the PCX-30 (825 gph) but in some places I have read that the pump should rotate salt water (reef and some fish)9 to 12 times and in some places I have read that 3 to 4 times is enough.... I want to see some of your comments or some of the equipment that you are using before I make a decision. there are so many math quotations involve that even for a math teacher would be a good task.
would the PCX-30 be OK or not?
Thanks in advance to all.
Fernando.
