I have a powder blue that has been in my FO tank for over 2 years. The biggest battle was when I first got him- he broke out with a really bad case of velvet a couple of weeks after I bought him. I had to treat him with copper in the QT for so long I didn't think he would survive it, but he made it and has been fine since then. If you have one that doesn't have velvet you are extremely lucky, be sure you don't expose him to it by quarantining everything that is going to go in the tank with him. Aside from being very suseptable to fatal cases of parasitic infestation, they are very easy to care for. Just keep your water quality good and keep feeding him the green stuff. Mine likes brine shrimp, mysis, flake food and pellets, but his favorite is all of the Julian Sprung Sea Veggies products. Good luck with him and let me know how he's doing.
