 lost 2 hermit crabs.
I don't know their name, but they had red and orange striped legs. VERY cool looking. I'm not sure what happened, but one disappeared and has been MIA for 1 week, no shell or ANYTHING! The other abandoned his shell last night and I found him on the aquarium floor this morning with the snails picking at him =( They were kind of expensive at $12 a peice.
I'm wondering what the heck happened. I was told they are cool scavenging along the bottom and that they did not need to be fed directly. The shells they were in were probably 2-3" long. They were easily 1-1.5" themselves.
Any ideas? |
