Most of the low cost skimmers are nothing more than a way to inject more air into the water column. They don't skim a lot of junk out. What do you want to keep in your 29 gallon? If you want a few small fish and some mushroom anemones than a SeaClone will be fine. The Prizm probably is an improvement, but you are going to have to spend about $200 for a good skimmer. |
