I am tempted to say, don't mess with the additives just yet. On a good day, I believe that the water changes are good for the replenishment of iodine (get a test kit and see where your level is as a guage). I have EE, but I think between that and my salt mix, I have elevated my calcium. I'd do the water testing see if there is anything is lacking and proceed slowly but surely from there.
