| Dead plate coral. What happened?
Purchased plate coral, montipora. In tank for a month and fluorishing. Saturday noticed a brown/dead spot on edge,about 1/4 inches in diameter. Sunday it was an inch in diameter, and by Tuesday progressed to half the plate, and finally today the entire plate is dead. No other problems in tank, fish fine, mushroom, cabbage, and finger corals fine......bacterial infection? Can it be treated in future-or could I have avoided it? Thanks. |
