Default Re: Powder Blue and Yellow Eye Tang

Just an update. I got home today and saw both the Yellow Eye Tang and the Powder Blue Tang out eating algea off live rock side by side. The Powder Blue still occasionally gives him a little chase but nothing signifigant. I bought some food clips for them and installed them and put some dried seaweed in the clips. Unfortunately this gave both the tangs a scare and the Powder then proceeded to chase the Yellow Tang for a short bit. They both have stayed scared of the swaying seaweed. I turned off the lights and will keep the seaweed in there and hopefully they will get used to it and give it a try tomorrow. I also saw the blenny out a bunch today when I got home from work and the Powder has apparently calmed down on chasing him around too.

So far it looks like things will calm down and work out. *keeping my fingers crossed*

Which is what I am hoping for because the Powder blue looks great and gives a great look to the tank. I also really love the look of the Yellow Eye. When both of those guys calm down and get used to me being close to the tank then I will work on hand feeding them. It will be a slow training process.
