Default cpvc cement

Ok I used cpvc cement on some pipe fittings. ( I ran out of the clear ) I let them set 24 hr. before installing them. but shortly after turning on the water flow my corals started looking bad But I thought it might be them adapting to the new wave action from the squid. This morning there was no doubt that some thing bad was going on. So I shut off the pump and did 2- 5gal water change ( yes 100%) thing are looking better and I think I will save most if not all. Has any one out there used cvpc with out a problem? Do I need to look for another problem? I now have my sump ruining in a loop. but guess I need to do a 100% change there also. any suggestions welcome
