yes I had a crappy lid but have since changed it I used acrylic and cut it with a router around my plumbing that hangs on the back. Mine is a little picky he wont eat anything live that i throw in for the lion ie rosy reds, guppies what ever. I can take a guppy that the lion didnt get and skewer it with a kabob stick and the eel will swim up and get it. Right now he is about 12 inches I would guess when I brought him home he was 8-10 ish. He used to try to eat a huge hermit crab I had but could never do it I got rid of the crab cause it ate two urchins. It usually eats krill peices and alot of them every couple days. He is really cool to have in the tank he just chills in the rocks with his head out, comes out for chow when I open the lid to the tank |
