Default Teamspeak Is Up!!!

THIS IS A TEMPORARY TEAMSPEAK OF MINE UNTIL WE CAN GET THE OFFICAL RB TEAMSPEAK UP ON Reef Builders Servers. WHEN THAT HAPPENS A POST WILL BE MADE HERE AND THIS TS SERVER WILL BECOME A BACKUP TS SERVER.

Instructions on TS 2

This is an instructional guide to using TeamSpeak for all users on Reef builders
First off, download the TS2 Client from here (download appropriate client for your OS):[
TeamSpeak - Downloads
After downloading the client and installing it, run the program and click Connection->Connect.

Right-click in the big white space and click Add Server.
Label it Reef Builders in the box that it creates for the added server.

Enter the following into the following fields:
Label: Reef Builders
Server Address: 208.100.9.172:9220
NickName: What you use in the forums so you are easily identified
Make sure "Anonymous" is checked
Server Password:reeflover
Information on picture below is purely for example)

One requirement for using TS at Reef Builders: You are NOT allowed to use Voice Activation, you MUST use the Push To Talk option.
Open TS, go to Settings->Sound Input/Output Settings and make sure that the Push to talk option is checked. Then set the key to whatever you like.
Take a few minutes to play with the settings under the Sound Settings panel to tweak your setup.
First you have to set your “push to talk” activation key. This is done by clicking the Set button immediately followed by the key wish to use for push to talk. This key will activate your microphone to speak to others. Now, click Activate local test mode, talk into the mic, listen to yourself and adjust your microphone placement and input/output settings until you reach a good balance. Making sure you sound good here will help make sure you sound good to everybody else. Now click close to close the sound settings dialog box.

Hit Connect and BAM, it will connect you to our TS server. Hitting Connect also saves the configuration, so next time you start the program you just have to select it from the list instead of typing everything in.

Now your TS window should look something like this. You're connected to the server, you've got your sound settings configured properly, and you're basically ready to start gabbing away with everyone and learn all about the great Reef Talk and the awesome community we have here at Reef Builders
