My mother toadstool propagated herself, by bending over and sprouting a bud on the base of the stem near the attachment on the rock. She is such a beauty that I'm afraid of butchering her. although, your demonstration did give me a little courage.
The safe place was in those containers, even in the most violent of waters, the plastic container blocks a lot of the flow. I just put the container whereever there was room. I didnt dim the lights at all, but I have heard you can do that.

Yep lots of muccus from the mother toadstool. Unfortunately the frags were lost due to water movement. I tried super glueing them, but it never held.

You really dont even need that big of a peice, and then the mother will regrow within a week or 2.
