Yep, if you leave the "white cotton ball" cocoon on the live rock, another small feather duster will emerge and consequently in time a hard calcareous white tube that he lives in. I leave them in my tank to help suck excess nutrients out of the water. I haven't seen any harm in leaving them on the rock, but if they get in excess, I'll be trying the fresh water dip. |
