 filter question???????
Hi All,
I have a 30 gallon oceanic and 21.95 lbs of live rock in it. I have an emperor 400 filter filtering the tank. At what point can i switch to a different filter? Or do I need to? I was told that once I reach the magical number of 45 lbs. of live rock i can remove the filter and go with a protein skimmer? If so what would anybody recomend? Can I do that with 30 lbs. of live rock? I have seen the formula 1 to 1.5 lbs of live rock for every gallon.
