Icon5 Hermits attacking my Coco Worm Eeeek

My hermits (red, blue, black/white legged) are eating my Coco worms tube like CRAZY! Are they not getting enough to eat? What's the deal. I had one do this a couple of weeks ago (my fave hermit by the way) a large well.. the size of a quarter black/white legged my lfs would not take him back, so I had to flush him, about every 10 minutes I have to get these little jerks off of his tube. They have ruined about 25% of the growth that he has made on his tube...

What do I do? Do I flush the ones that are being mean? Let nature take it's course? I feel bad for Coco, he just wants to grow!!
