I have yet to see any silicone in a tube that says 100% silicone and did not say that it had algaecides or mold resistant on it that wasn't safe. If you used 100% silicone, you should be fine. If you're worried about it, you can remove the silicone with a razor blade and reseal it with aquarium grade silicone. IMO, The main (if not only) difference between the two is the cost.
