Re: Pics of 7 month old reef tank No, you wouldn't want to cut the bubble algae off with a razor blade since it would pop the bubbles. For bubble algae that size and location, it is the easiest to peal the bubbles off the rock with your hands, or if your very careful, you can use a flat screwdriver to help pry them off.
