For me the ole 10 gal bucket, I cure my water for a week so to speak, get it perfect, temp, ph etc..

Gravel cleaner hose thing, pump it out, pump it in, pretty much same thing your asking about, just no attachment or pumps all manual, then again i only have a 30g tank...

I pump the water back in slow at diff intervals..
