Are you looking for info on how to build different components or just what components are recommended for a saltwater/reef tank? Also, what type of experience do you have? Most of the info in books are basic when it comes to setups because they don't want to say that a certain way is the best way since technology and ways of thinking changes all of the time. They will go over some popular methods that were available at the time the book was written, but they generally don't tell you which method works the best in what situations. One prime example is the needle/mesh wheel skimmers. They weren't very common a few years ago and very few books talk about them, but most people that are around any forum will agree that, because of technological advances, they are much better than most other types of skimmers. Books like to focus on proven methods that stand the test of time or livestock/setup FACTS. The best place to gain knowledge about equipment and what everyone thinks is the best is forums like this.
