If you keep the pipe filled with water it will work.
You could use an extra powerhead with a tube on the outlet to dump water into a bucket.
What are you running for filtration? Sump or HOB (hang on back)?
If you are running a sump you can drain off the sump inlet and add new water to the sump. |
