the cross brace is there to keep the tank from splitting at the corners.I would not even think about removing it.That do nit drill label is there because the tempered glass the tank is made out of can not be drilled.It WILL shatter,not might shatter,or maybe it will shatter,it WILL shatter.If you want metal halide for that tank you will need a two bulb unit,they are designed to cover up to a 2x2 foot square surface area on the tank. |
