Tangs are very susceptible to ich. From what I know and have read it takes 6 weeks for the main tank to get rid of ich, and that's without any fish in it for the ich to attach onto. Did you put your tang in a QT to treat?? How many other fish in main tank and do they have ich as well?
In short; if you have inverts it would be wise to take all the fish out of the main tank and, if at all possible, put into a QT for treatment for and don't put them back into the main tank for 6 weeks. I would also check previous posts regarding ich treatment. |
