blenies, star fish, gobies, thoes are just a few for examle that sift sand. if your tank has not been set up for at least 6-8 months you might not have enough junk in your sand for them to eat. so simply they starve to death a vary common problem. only from experiance. 3 salt water tanks in 3 years. after established vary fun fish to watch. good luck |
