yellow tangs are all different and it takes them a month or two to get used to there new home and sometimes they will never get used to it, hopefully your tank is no smaller than 70 gallons cause that would be 2 small for a tang but if its a baby tang it should be alright for a lil while but the bigger the better i have a 120 gallon and my tangs only hide when you move quickly by the tank usually if you **** in front while feeding they should come out but i found having more than one tang makes them a lil less scared but if you are doing that remember to get only tangs that are the same size as the one in your tank as they are very territorial and will fight for a lil bit but if there of equal size they generally wont kill eachother thats what i have seen anyways
