I wish I had a good answer about rock placement, but one thing that I believe helped was to use some dead base rock. I put it in the back third of the cube and stacked the live rock on it. the other thing that is hard to see from the pictures is that behind the rock with the blasto and frogspawn is a pretty big "cave" so that the angel fish can hide and a space for the nozzle. Flow into the tank is split to the top front and low back of the tank. The chaeto and rock hide the rear nozzle pretty well. I'll try to get some pictures to show this. |
