Default Re: Pics of 7 month old reef tank

Right side of tank

Yellow polyps; these have grown like weeds and a few have spread off onto the lr I placed their rock on.

My favorite coral so far, kenya tree, just keeps growing taller and taller! I've been measuring it against the lr behind it. How big will this one get?...

Lots of coraline now, and bought two turbo? snails that have been munching on the 'hard' green algae on the borders of the glass.

Thanks for looking! I'm enjoying watching all the different stages my tank goes thru, even the algae! It's a great learning experience, know more about algae now than I ever did before!

Oh, there is a lawnmower blenny in there also but, he's much more timid than the one I had before but he's doing great. Also have a brittle sea star that eats one piece of small shrimp or fish every two or three days, he's huge!

AND, I finally got to watch my cleaner shrimp at work!!!! Right before any of the lights came on in the morning I caught him cleaning up the blenny, so cool! As long as I keep finding the moltings of my shrimp, I assume they're doing well too but don't see them as much anymore!
