Well we did find out what it is.
I don't know how many of you got to experience ICH in your tank (I'm sure many), but we witnessed their "egg" stage. Flat discs w/ little critters inside ARE ICH. It's really depressing really, because they were left in the tank for so long, in hope they were something beneficial.
SO...if you ever see them in your tank, get them out immediately
