Sounds like severe misbars. I have seen them and I think they look pretty cool! I had a large hatch of oscellaris on Sat. and I was unable to obtain a good culture of rotifers. My culture crashed on Wed., I ordered more on Thurs., got them Fri., and being of low density, they crashed on Sat. My clownfish all survived the first night with very little food. The next two days I fed them otohime (rotifer weaning diet) and today (Tues) got more rotifers. The majority made it! My mandarin babies are doing better than expected. They're almost big enough to start eating rotifers. I've taken some video of each, but haven't gotten around to posting them yet. The adult mandarins are surprisingly eating ORA Glo pellets!!!
