Default Re: 90 Gallons of Saltwater Life

Thanks Matt.

I lost one of the two remaining Bangaii's. His fins got nipped pretty bad so I eventually took him out and let him heal in QT for 4 weeks. I re-introduced him along with a couple of other fish, and he recently faded. I think the remaining Bangaii is one mean son of a gun.

I also managed to lose a bloodshrimp. Hmmmm.

I also bought a pair of Firefish which have found a permanent hiding place under some LR in the back of the tank. For some reason my Hippo Tang thinks they are food and every time they pop their head out of their cave they get chased.

I also introduced a Kole Tang albeit with some reluctance. Of course, contrary to popular belief the two Tangs get along great! I was meticulous in introducing him (had the lights of for a couple days, re-arranged some of the rock-work, and taped a mirror to the tank).

Last night was an interesting one, as I JimW369, RyanG, and ILoveMash would tell you (BTW, if you are reading, thanks for your input guys). I decided to address a leaking bulkhead that I caused while re-working some of my plumbing. I also wanted to thoroughly clean my sump, pumps, and protein skimmer. In the process of doing so I managed to turn my living room into swimming pool and cause a leak in my sump. I also noticed static coming from the electrical socket as a result of the spill. Static electrical sockets are an adventurous phenomenon.

Anyways, I had to make a late night run to Home Depot to buy some sealant. I currently have the tank running with just Powerheads and will continue working on it tonight.

How is that for an update??!!!

I posted some pictures in ILoveMash's thread requesting pics, but should probably post them here also.
