 Coral Life 48" HQI
I have a 48" coralife with 150w HQI and I want to upgrade to 250w or 400w for my mixed reef, my tank is 30" deep and I need better light penatration plus you get better color from your SPS's with 250-400w bulbs. I was looking into Hellolights. com and they have all the parts to rebuild my fixture, bulb fixtures and ballsts. Has anybody tried this? I know that a lot have reefers have bought Odessa fixtures and added new ballasts for better performance, I can DYI pretty good but not that sure about electrical stuff.
Any advice would help.
