I believe if the problem were blatantly obvious he would have fixed. While I think jumping someone who came here for advice is immature, childish and so smacking of " Im invincible behind this keyboard " , I do think the issue should have been better investigated without using the fish. The circumstances surrounding these fish wasnt brought to consideration and who knows maybe he took advice elsewhere first and was being told to do something differant and followed this other advice.
Just a note to anyone who wants to "help" or give advice, if we are begginers or vets, berating, demeaning self indulged rants do nothing but make us want to leave this site. If you truly believe you have the answers or know-how then instead of making somoene feel like they murdered your mom, try thinking that they came here for a reason for help, go ahead though and push others who make mistakes away and you will have nothing but a "I sure told him" and be able to pat yourself on the back.
If you are losing that many fish, please do find the problem before introducing anymore fish, have they all come from the same place? Could there be a problem with the supplier by any chance?
