I had a 480 at my old house and when I moved last year I upgraded to the 720 just for fun. The tank itself was $3500 and all together I would guess at around $15,000 in equipment. Originally piced together over about a years time.
not sur eon the ca reactor, had it on the 480 and guess we could never get it tuned in correctly is all. The outflow of the ca rx is low in PH and would drive down the tank overall. The calcium in the old tank always tested low also, so I was pushing the ca rx to keep the cal up and it drove down the PH. Just could never get it balanced on that tank. I switched to the kalkwasser and it works great in my opinion.
never even tried the ca rx on the new tank, but still hve it just in case someday. |
