Some people do it different ways,but i cut with a exacto razor at the base of the branch that you want to cut off.Make a clean cut dont saw.Then dry the cut base with a napkin,there will be slime,and then super glue to what ever you are attatching it to.If the colt isnt big enough with branches then cut the branch rite down the center and put back in tank or water.In a couple weeks it will have made seperate branches.
