 Re: Salt mix
At the risk of sounding cheap and/or inexperienced, I use the Petco salt! I used to use the Aquatic Gardens and LOVE that salt but Petco stopped selling it so they could sell their store brand, which, so far after testing, seems to be the same as Aquatic Gardens.... those copy cats!
The mag is a tad low in this salt but the calc is good and everyone in my tank is happy, healthy and the tank is looking just fine. It's cheaper salt as well.... been using it for over a month. Have great coraline growth after switching to Petco too but, that's probably due to starting the kalk drip at night!
