Default Re: Hey everyone

Well everyone I just had a potential crash with my tank last week due to a power outage. The tank did not turn back on as it should have. The GFCI protector that adapts to the wall its yellow and people had told me that it is best to get one if you have water spillage. Well that set my tank up for failure. When the power goes out the GFCI pops out and when the power comes back on you have to manually reset it and if you are not home then you are skrewed like I was. Last most of my tank a few corals a few fish with only my clowns left. I have not been home because I was visiting my dad all weekend (divorced parents) and my mom calls me at night and says my entire tank is dead. The temperature read 98 degrees I totally freaked out. What could have possibly happened? I think it was a heater malfunction but I really dont know what to do with my tank now. Maybe use it as a quarantine and setup a 75 gallon or something.
