Default Re: Blue Hippo Tang-Parasite?

When i was starting out, i had a powder blue and the ich killed it pretty quick, over the last year i have researched quite a bit and tryed lots of methods to cure sick fish from hypo salinty to chemicals and basically what i found is that garlic does do more than just make fish go nuts for food, i had two yellow tangs 2 koran angel and a valingi tang and they all got ich so seeing as it was real difficult to catch fish in a 110 gallon heavily stocked tank i thought id try garlic, feeding 2 times a day and using a dropper 2 drops per feeding but i would soak the food for an hour before feeding the fish just so the food would soak up the garlic and just like when dogs and cats get flees you can give them a lil garlic and it kills off the flees so no if i see any signs of ich or wounds for an anemone or something i just feed with garlic and it has cured my ich problem very well, it has work very well with the yellow tangs but it takes time to, different fish react different my koran angel reacted well to the garlic plus the fish are very bright in color and very beutiful and garlic is what i live and swear by now cause i donlt need a QT tank at all even though i kick one around just incase something serious happens but i havnt had to used it ever since
