To answer your question..your the match you just gotta catch it. Most people find the rock it hides in then dips it in fresh water. When the mantis leaves the rock they catch it/ remove the rock then dispose in a way they see fit. Google about removing mantis shrimp to find some other ways, I know they are out there!
