Default Redoing tank

hey guys well i started a saltwater tank last august towards teh end. it was my first tank -55 gallon and i didnt really kno wat to do. i learned and i finally had the right equipment and everything. i eventually started to buy some fish and they died. i tried to fix the problems and then i got a few more fish. they died also. after that i just gave up. my tank has been sitting in my basement since about january or february. it has about 45lbs of live rock and i havent really done anything to it. theres a couple of corals and they look bad. i havent switched out the water or cleaned it. i havent turned on the lights or the filter. pretty much the only thing runnning is one powerhead. i would like to know if i can salvage anythign. i mean the rock looks okay but anything else. i have about 40lbs of sand that i had gotten. it was calcium carbonate and i added some bacteria to it in the beginning. im pretty sure its dead now . i need some tips on how i can restart this tank. thanks a bunch
